The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed in regards to the significant amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a sassa status check large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The services level produced for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
